2013-2014 FTRL Rules

Section A-


1.1 
      All dates are required to be attended or you have no
right to be in the league. To the exception of issues off the race track. If
unable to make it contact owner 18 hours before hand. Sooner than that would be
even better.

 1.2

      All drivers are expected to have headsets on them at
all times no matter what.


 1.3

      If inappropriate  behavior happens on track
between communication. e.t., swearing, disrespecting one another, background
noise, will receive a penalty or probation.

 1.4


     Set times for events are all 48 hour approved, and
will be on Eastern times.



1.5


     Uncontrollable circumstances with the racing will be
later scheduled.



1.6


     All calls are made from the Official. That includes,
wrecks, lags, etc.



1.7


    If plan on changing gamer tag, let the owner know, so he
can make his changes that are needed.



1.8


    Once you pick a driver, you will not be able to choose
another.



1.9


    Penalties that are listed in Section H, are penalties that
are minimal,  but will become a higher result if repeated.



1.10


      In the state of drivers not seeing each other,
lagging or disconnection, we will stop the racing, wait 5 minutes, then resume
from the recent lap. Testing will be permitted for checking of connection.



1.11


      If weather is affecting pre race
expection, a delay will occur. It will probably be a 30 minute delay. Or will be
rescheduled for a later date.



Section B - Qualifying Procedure



2.0


     We try making the qualifying as real as possible. 
 After qualifying, you can do whatever you want, until race starts.


 
2.1


     After 2 attempts of a player trying to connect to
host, the player will not be able to qualify. Also be given a last place
starting spot.



2.2


     If can't make it to qualifying, you might be
qualified earlier that day if it is approved by owner.



2.3


    If driver missed the drivers meeting, or failed to
qualify, the driver will be starting near the rear.



2.4


     According to Qualifying and race, there will be no
setups used.



2.5


    There is CERTAINLY NO SOUND coming out of mics during
qualifying.



Section C - Race Procedure



3.1


     If can't connect or you forfeit the race, you will
get 0 points or a minimum of 1 or 2 points in standings.



3.2


     If driver disconnects after half way, they will be
no longer eligible to race. Only 2 restarts are provided. Unless the lagging
gets really bad.



3.3


    The race will begin with a pace lap of the drivers getting
in the correct order, from qualifying results.



3.4


    All flags, penalties, are called only from the
official.



3.5


    You are not allowed to pass or gain any position if it
is illegal. Especially at restrictor plate tracks.



3.6


     Drivers that are about to go a lap down that are in
front of the leader, can race as hard as possible. Once passed by
leader you are permitted to give way.



3.7


     If any substitution is made 48 hours before hand,
the substitute has to message the owner. Also if the normal driver can come at
half way or earlier, they are able come back, with the position the sub was
in.



3.8


     Caution is called for the following reasons:



      - Debris ( barrels, lids, etc. )

     - 2 cars involved in one incident
 
       
     - A serious lag ( Anytime during the race )  



Section D - Under Caution



4.1


    Under caution, drivers are expected to go the speed limit,
with 2 or 3 car lengths apart, until the green flag is waved.



4.2


     Lucky dogs and wave arounds have to wait until
drivers have pitted.


4.3


    Wave arounds can be used if all lead lap cars pit. But
they CANNOT pit.



4.4


    The Lucky Dog is the driver that is the first one lap
down. They have the privilege to earn 1 lap back, then be able to pit the
second pace lap.



4.5


     The lucky dog and wave arounds keep at the normal
speed limit after the leaders pit. Therefore there is another lap for the lucky
dogs. Lead lap cars CANNOT pit the second time.



4.6


     The lead lap cars have to line up in double file,
down the backstretch.



4.7


    If a driver WRECKS ANOTHER DRIVER UNDER
CAUTION, they will be handed a black flag ( black flag depends on how
severe the wreck was ). Also points deducted, possibly a probation.



4.8


     Absolutely NO fooling around anytime during the race
period.



4.9


     All drivers that were caught up in the wreck will
start in the back ( no matter where they came out of the pits ), it will be
based on car #.



Section E - Restart Procedure



5.0


    The leader after the pit stops will decide which lane
he wants to restart in.



5.1


    The leader will restart the race at the starting box. If
driver calls it after the start box, positions 2,3,4 will be eligible make any
moves, that aren't illegal. Drivers in 5th or farther back will have to stay in
line.



5.2


     If driver gets out of line and doesn't switch before
the Start/Finish line, he will be penalized ( no exceptions ). After the green
flag waves, the 2nd car can beat the leader to the line.


Section F - Green - White - Checkered Procedure



6.0


     Same as in real life. There are three attempts at a
green - white -checkered. If there is a caution ( called by the official )
before taking the white, drivers will slow down to normal pace speed, the race
will be extended. After the last green white checkered, the caution will be
called if the racing groove is filled with cars. So that would mean, whoever was
first at the last scoring loop wins the race. If not the track will stay
green.



Section G - Chase for the Big Trophy



7.0


     The Chase for Axalta Cup Series will depend on how
many drivers enter. For the WinCraft series will have no chase. ( This rule
will be updated when drivers enter )



7.1


     All rules are the same coming into the chase.
Drivers not entered in the chase can run as hard as possible. But CANNOT wreck
the contenders.



7.2


     Wildcards will be determinded after drivers are in
the league.



Section H - Penalties



8.0


     Hitting the cone will result starting at the
tail end of the pack. If the driver was planning to pit, he would follow behind
the lap cars ( if any ), and has to keep at speed limit.



8.1


     Speeding under caution will result in a penalty.



8.2


    If pit road is closed, there will be a automatic black
flag if anyone pits, and will start at the tail end.



8.3


     There are no warnings in this league. If you break a
rule, you are penalized.

Bonus Points


 Wins: + 3 points


 Leads most laps: + 1 point


 Leads a lap: + 1 point



The Owner of the Fast Track Racing league, has the rights to fire, or rehire a 
competitor. Failure to obey the rules, you will be removed.
